Join me as we take a minute to celebrate the bountiful beauty that is Christmas sweets. During this class we will reinvent the fruit mince pie. Transforming it into a beautiful, modern dessert that works perfectly as a light treat or plated up for your dessert centrepiece. 

This class includes:

• The tricks and tips to shortcrust pastry 
  

• How to create the perfect tart shell without shrinkage

• Homemade fruit mince filling*
  
  
• The perfect spiced frangipane 
  
  
• All recipes will be provided to allow you to recreate this tart at home

The class is a relaxed environment located in a beautiful space in Northcote, Melbourne. We cater to all levels of experience, from first time baking enthusiasts through to more confident bakers.

* Please note, the fruit mince filling contains alcohol. Please let me know in advance if you would prefer an alcohol free version and I will cater to this. 

An apron will be provided to wear at the class. 

Class location

The class is held at Bechamel Studio on Albert Street, Northcote. Free street parking is available in the surrounding streets, please allow enough time to find a park before the class.

Should you wish to purchase a custom apron, tote bag, book or perforated baking mat, EFTPOS will be available on the day. 

Please note that the class will be a small group of students and places are very limited. 

Important Information:

• Please arrive 10 minutes prior to the start of the class to ensure we can start promptly.
• Please wear comfortable, closed toe shoes. 
• Parking is available on site and the surrounding area.
  
• Tickets are strictly non-refundable. They can however be transferred to another person should you not be able to make the class.
• Unfortunately, we can not accommodate extra guest or plus ones. The ticket is for one person only
• Workshops are subject to cancellation if minimum attendance is not met. In this case, refunds will be provided.
